CFE Speed Exchange Evening

The Sunday Times is soon to feature the world's first ever Speed Exchange in an article to be published on 1st July by journalist and CFE member Louise Roseingrave.  Members came on Tuesday 19th June at the Quality Hotel for the second ever speed exchange evening.  Video and photos of both evenings are below,.

Speed Exchange Evening No 1
Why come?
Exchanges within time banks and LETS schemes are nearly always more likely to happen when members know each other or have met first.

Other CFE members are just as nice as you are, if not more so, so you are bound to enjoy meeting them

Many exchanges that happened as a result of the last speed exchange were for skills and services that members didn't even know were possible.

People really enjoyed the first one and asked for another one

Speed Exchange Evening No 2

How does it work?
Members get four minutes to introduce themselves to a CFE member sitting opposite.  Find out about each other and ask what skills and offers you are both making   Maybe agree an exchange.  When the bell rings, change places and meet someone new.  Over the evening you will meet up to twenty new people, and hear about twenty or thirty skills and offers that you could avail of.  By the end of the evening everyone will have fixed up at least two exchanges, as offerer and offeree. Often more!

Don't believe it?  Here is a brief video of the last speed exchange!  The new venue will offer even more space, and even better acoustics.
